My back garden
What will you be doing in June? The weather is gorgeous and most people are coming out of isolation and getting out to explore the places they haven't been to in a few months. We hope you and your family are coping well during this time.
Take a break from your Left-Brain. During these stressful times, your left-brain functions can drain your mental energy with stress, worry, and logical thinking. Spend some time getting away from it all and awaken your Right-Brain. The right side of your brain is responsible for creativity, art, and imagination. Focusing on these things takes me to a different place, gives me a different focus and helps me get grounded. The ways I wake up my right-brain and bring out my creativity are:
-Being in the garden and listening to the wonderful bird song all around.
-Taking a walk in the park with my dog Lily, being in the moment, and taking in nature's beauty.
-Picking up a needle and thread and starting a new embroidery project.
-Getting out the knitting needles and starting yet another pair of socks.
-Picking up some paint and a brush, or some pencil crayons, and doodling.
