BUILD YOUR SKILLS WORKSHOPS

NO MORE MISTAKES
If every mistake causes you to rip out and start over, help is here!  Some mistakes are easily fixed without all that ripping, some just need a little un-knitting.  Learn to "see" the basic structure of well-knit stitches so you can confidently fix boo-boos, and even avoid making them.  Supplies required.  Saturday, February 18  1:00 - 2:30  1 Session: $25

READING A PATTERN AND GETTING GAUGE
Having Trouble understanding knitting instructions?  This workshop demystefies things, so you can get to the fun part (the knitting!) faster.  But wait, before you race right into your newest project, you'll want to make sure you're on the right track by doing a gauge swatch first.  Find out what you need to know about patterns AND why gauge matters, all in one class.
Saturday, February 25  1:00 - 3:00   1 Session: $30

FINISH IT BEAUTIFULLY
Learn techniques for invisible seaming, blocking and dealing with all those pesky loose ends of yarn, so your knitted garment will be beautifully finished inside and out.  Also included: picking up stitches.  Basic knitting and supplies required.
Saturday, March 4   1:00 - 3:00   1 Session: $30

INCREASING AND DECREASING
Increasing and decreasing techniques are used to shape garments, and for advanced stitch patterns, such as lace.  Learn 6 different techniques and when best to use them.  Take home the pattern for the popular "classic dishcloth" (great as hostess gifts). and try out your new skills.  Basic knitting skills and supplies required.
Saturday, March 11   1:00 - 2:30   1 session: $25
